Dear LAB Pioneers, and CBC Partners and Friends,
We are very pleased to invite you to the 2013 International BiodiverCities
Conference, hosted by the City of Joondalup, in collaboration with ICLEI Cities
Biodiversity Center, ICLEI Oceania and the Western Australian Local Government
Association (WALGA).
This
three day conference will be held on 9-11 September 2013 at the Joondalup
Resort, Perth, Western Australia. The exciting program will feature group
discussions, field trips and presentations from regional and international
environmental experts addressing biodiversity conservation in the context of a
changing climate.
The BiodiverCities Conference will attract delegates from all levels of
governments, environmental groups, businesses and delegations from countries
around the world including those participating ICLEI programs, such as Local
Action for Biodiversity (LAB) and other ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center
projects.
In addition, following the
BiodiverCities Conference, there will be a Cities Biodiversity Center LAB
meeting on 12 September 2013 in Joondalup, for all LAB participants that are
traveling to the Conference.
