Greetings from the ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center!
It is our pleasure to share with you our latest Cities Biodiversity Center Newsletter. The March 2015 Edition has a strong focus on urban wetlands as well as the outcomes of the last CBD COP 12. We highlight upcoming events such as the ICLEI World Congress (8-12 April) and Urban Nature (11-12 April) 2015 to be held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea next month, and showcase the inspiring work driven by our cities across the world. We trust you will enjoy the read and the new look and layout of this month's newsletter and encourage you to keep sending us project updates and pictures in order for us to further profile the local action for biodiversity happening in your cities around the world.
- Highlights in this edition include:
- BiodiverCity News
- The URBIS 2015 Webinar Series
- The Urban Natural Assets for Africa Project
- What did the CBD COP 12 really mean for local and sub-national governments?
- Wetlands and communities: South Africa
